HOUSTON – U.S. President Donald Trump has joined a raucous rally in Texas to welcome Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is visiting the United States and they showered each other with praise at a “Howdy, Modi!” rally where 50,000 people were present, for what Mr. Trump called a “profoundly historic event” in Houston.
Modi started his discussion inside the NRG Stadium, home of the Houston Texans football crew, with a noisy, “Howdy my friends!”
